I was driving through Basking Ridge in the beginning of the week and very close to my house I spotted a beautiful field of blooming Black-eyed Susans. I said to my son Conor – boy would I love to find a little girl with a pretty dress and a hat and photograph her in that field. Two days later my phone rang – thank you Pam – and my dream came true.
Maison is a very talkative 2 year old who was so happy running through the field picking flowers for everyone (especially Conor!). It was a serious matter – not too many smiles until the very end, but I loved the way the sunlight washed over her blonde hair.
For this last image, I used a program to make the photograph look like a painting – would love to hear what you think… Looking forward to watching this sweet girl grow!
