Two-times the Fun!

November 28, 2009

Meet Alexandra and Brandan - very adorable and active twins that came to visit last week.

Alexandra was very happy in front of the camera, smiling away.  I think she looks like a little doll in this image.

There were many images of Brandan, but I loved this one.  The expression on his face says “I have the phone, and you better not try to take it!”

Here they are sharing a little together time.  Below are a few more of my favorites.

Can’t wait to watch you grow!

Matthew awaits baby sister

November 28, 2009

I have been photographing Matthew for a few years - before he came this time, he definitely took his cute pills.

He did everything I asked him to, told me all kinds of stories and absolutely melted my heart!

Here he is one minute being the tough guy….and the next laughing his heart out.

Matthew seems to be excited to meet his baby sister due in early December.

I saw a commercial recently where the little boy asks his Mom…how long is she going to stay?  …talking about his little sister.

How cute is that? We’ll remind him of these photos one day when he isn’t so happy to have her around!  Can’t wait to meet her myself!

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 25, 2009

This photograph is compliments of one of my favorite little customers - 3 year old Maison McIntyre.  We have a deal where I take pictures of her and then she can take a picture of me.  The problem is that my camera is so heavy that I have to reach my arm out to hold the camera while she takes it resulting in many photos of my face as close as you can get.  Not flattering, but worthy of my blog to say to everyone -

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy every moment with your family.  Be thankful for all the many blessings we share … and don’t forget to take pictures!

Lisa & Chris

November 19, 2009

Congratulations to Lisa and Chris who are getting married next December.  They were so easy-going and calm for this hectic time of year!

I love how well they fit together.  Very natural looking I think.

And I love the black and white just as well.  The contrast is really great.

But…I wouldn’t be telling the whole story if I didn’t talk about Riley and Rocky.  We tried our best to get them to sit together..but I was also happy with their individual portraits.

One big happy family if you ask me!

The Caserta Family

November 16, 2009

Thank goodness for our mild November days!  I met the Caserta family at Willowwood yesterday for a surprisingly warm day where the sun was shining and the smiles were plenty.  It is great how a day like that puts everyone in a great mood.

I love this little area we found - the stone building with the whitewashed windows and ivy made a perfect background.  Below are several images of the family.

I love the warm colors in front of this tree - it may possibly be the last tree in New Jersey to still have it’s leaves!

Here are Heather and Kristin looking so beautiful.

And here they are with a little “tude”…

It was so nice meeting everyone - and fun to spend a beautiful day outside!

Meet Reed

November 16, 2009

You wouldn’t know that Reed is just 3 months old here with his Mom and Dad.  I captured that moment where he was sitting up looking like such a big boy!  Precious smile!

I love seeing all the little baby parts - the hands, ears and little feet in the background.

Here is Reed with Mommy getting ready for a nap.

It wouldn’t be the whole story if I didn’t talk about Hank.  Hank greeted me at the door and was such a good dog - watching me set everything up and wanted so much to be in the photos with the family.  Is he smiling??

Amore!

November 10, 2009

OK.  Get your tissues ready for this one.  I love asking young couples how they met…it’s such an exciting time being engaged and planning a wedding.

Domenico and Valeria met when they were just 10 and 12 years old.  The met at a wedding - they were both IN the wedding.  Wow.  Amazing? Destiny?  Romantic?  All of the above!

And they fit together like they were made for each other.  We had great fun dancing around at the park.

As they begin their journey together, may their path be smooth and joy fill their lives!

When I first met the Culligan Family - I was in love with the curls on the girls and their quiet nature.

This is Molly who was really confused when I started singing her “The Molly Malone”- which I am proud to say I know all the words to!  The real smiles came when Daddy was doing something, unknown to me, behind my back!

This is Claire with the beautiful smile.  I love how the light caught just the side of her hair.

This is big brother Brian, the Lacrosse player who was also laughing at Dad behind my back.

I love the 3 kids together - showing off the last of the fall colors and showing how much alike they look!

It was a pleasure to meet such a nice family - - next time I’ll have to learn the words to a song with Claire and Brain in them!

The McIntyre children are ready for Santa!  They put on their holiday best for their Christmas portraits and they certainly did their smiling.

Maison is really growing up and looking so cute!

Tyler loved sitting like a big boy by himself.  I can’t believe how much they are growing.

Here is Chace with that melt your heart smile!

Maison and her brothers…or brodders, as she says.  Here is our serious shot and below is our not so serious shot!

I ventured North to photograph the Green family and was totally entertained by their son Joey who really enjoyed himself in the leaves.

Here he is totally cracking up as his Mom threw leaves at him.  Must be something about the freedom of it?  Maybe the crunch?

I love how every family has their thing. Their thing that they say to their kids and they get a great response.  In this case, Daddy says “touchdown” and Joey throws his hands up in delight!

Just a little walk in the woods with Daddy.  I love how the trees, especially above, really frame the image.
