It was great to see the difference a year made for Michael, Nicholas and Julia. They are just the right about of polite, yet playful siblings that (seem to?) enjoy being photographed!
I think the stone background was my favorite, but we tried a few other things also.
I need to call this image “we love our Mom” because whatever she was doing, she got some very genuine smiles from them!
I loved Julia’s boots and skirt together and was so happy when she sat down on the step. How cute is that?
Nicholas literally wanted to be IN the bushes for his individual shots. He looks so natural though. It worked!
And lastly, here is Michael. The serious oldest child looking very grown up in this shot. So good to see you all again!
My studio was a little zooy last Friday when the McIntyres arrived. How cute are they … and how big they are getting!
Tyler is adorable as a lion with his lush mane!
Chace was itchy in his little monkey suit - which we thought was so appropriate - a budding actor.
Big sister Maison loved her elephant costume.
Pretty cute little animals!
I always forget how much I love the light this time of year until I have a day like I had with the Bryne & Bell families photographing the “cousins”.
It is a golden light. I love this first image because each of them is enveloped by the light.
Thank God for Dad (or Uncle Pat) for keeping the party going. Not exactly sure what was going on behind my head, but whatever it was, it worked!
In this next image, it was so cool to see their relection!
Boys will be boys? Thank goodness no one landed in the water!
A magical day for all!
What a beautiful afternoon I had with Ava on the beach. Ava, for those serious SLR Photography fans, is the little baby on the stack of towels. She is so cute now - talking and laughing. She loves to play hide & seek and would do just about anything for a ice pop!
In my opinion, all you need is a nice pile of shells in life and everything else is smooth sailing.
I loved so many of the images of her. She is very expressive.
Ava was playing a game in this image - going up to the fence and sliding down the sand! And who says we need Xbox?
Look at that face - Priceless!!
What a beautiful day with Mom and Dad swinging in the surf.
Catch me if you can! Look at the light on her face. Love to watch you grow Ava!
Being the mother of two boys, I had a blast photographing twin sisters Sophia and Gabriela. They were absolutely so full of giggles.
They really just needed to look at each other and it would start. I had fun memories of giggling like that with my sister!
Here they are with Mom and Dad. We were trying so hard to hold back the giggles.
There is a story behind every photo. In the shot below, I was playing a game with the girls where they were hitting my hand (like “give me five”). I said to them OK - this time after we do “give me five” - I said, put your heads together and I guess I put my hand on the side of my face to demonstrate. Well, we did “give me five” and they each put their hands on the sides of their faces like I had just done.
We all laughed so hard!
Thanks for a great laugh Sophia and Gabriela!
Nicholas was smiling from the moment he arrived with his Mom and Dad. What a cute and cooperative little boy!.
He looked like such a little man in the little vest. Nicholas is at that magical age that I love - they sit, but don’t quite crawl yet. His Mom and Dad timed it perfectly!!
Nicholas has beautiful eyes and was so curious about everything around him.
A quick outfit change - and a perfect baby advertisement for Polo!
This last image was a “must do” since both Mom and Dad are teachers. Here is Nicholas “reading”.
I am sure the next time I see Nicholas I won’t be able to catch him!!
We had a blast at the park with Lucy & Chloe last week on one of those beautiful fall-like days. This first image is a perfect picture of how attached they were to Mommy in the beginning of the shoot.
The really enjoyed the flowers and before long, they spread their wings. Look at the adorable curls! Here is Lucy, still a little timid.
Here is Chloe so cute and full of smiles.
They loved the trees and found a perfect one to show off their climbing skills.
Here is an image of them looking for something in the grass - I think Daddy said there was a frog… I did a little antique look to this one…sort of makes it timeless.
By the end of the shoot, there was no stopping them. They really enjoyed running around all full of girl giggles!
Not a care in the world - - take me with you!!
