I was happy to see Alex and Annie again - as well as their friend Casey for a little summer fun in the backyard. In order to make each other smile - all they needed to do was look at each other.
What a moment captured! Then we broke out the watermelon - Yum!
What a cutie! Annie loved the watermelon!
Funny thing was - kids these days (boy that makes me sound old!) don’t even know that watermelons have black pits…
I’m not sure if Casey has had watermelon before. He caught on quickly and was absolutely thrilled. Wish every summer day could be that much fun!
Amy and Kevin were married at a beautiful place called The Water’s Edge in Sea Bright, New Jersey. The skies were blue and the crowd very happy to see these two exchange vows as you can see from the smiles behind them!
Amy and Kevin met in Middle School and as her father told stories at his toast during the reception, they stood arm and arm.
They really enjoyed themselves along the surf - I was pretty warm, so I can’t imagine how Kevin endured his Marine uniform in the sun (and he thought boot camp was hard!)
This wasn’t the first heart drawn…watch out for rolling waves! How beautiful they look together.
Love this shot! The toss!
The cliffs along the beach made some nice dramatic and creative shots on the rocks. The Water’s Edge has that great nautical blue paint which inspired the next image.
Best wishes to you both!
I was so happy to see Myla, my cousin Glenn & Sara’s daughter. She is so adorable and was like a perfect little baby model!
Our first outfit is a little pink number…
No need for toys…I have my toes, says Myla. She has a special “I’m really happy face”. I love it. I know when my mother see’s this face she is going to say that she belongs in our family…but honestly if you saw picture of Sara when she was little, she looks so much like her!
OK - love this - love the composition with Sara’s legs.
But just take a look at some of these in Black and white and then sort of antique look.
Love you Myla!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Roman and photographing him for professional headshots as well as some fun stuff! Stephen is the brother of Tom Roman, my website designer. Stephen, I quickly discovered, has many different looks.
Well, let’s see…tall, dark, handsome, doctor…it’s a tough job I have. SOMEONE has to do it!
Stephen shows a lot of expression in his eyes and eyebrows. Look at this shot! The thinker…with compassion. That is what I see.
Now look at another version in Black & White…
Here is my story about Stephen, because I always have to have a story. His brother Tom does motivational speaking and I recently attended a seminar that he ran about keeping motivated in this economy. It talked about turning off the harmful news and setting goals in many aspect of your life. Great seminar! Stephen attended and has been following his advice. BUT…here is the BUT….It turns out, Tom looks to Stephen to help him set HIS goals and keep motivated. I absolutely loved that. I hope that when my boys get older that they will look to each other like that!
A few more looks -
It was a pleasure meeting you Stephen!
I had a magical session with the McIntrye Twins - Chace and Tyler with their Mom. They are getting bigger every day and I am amazed that their personalities are so different already. First, here they are together.
I thought at good title of this one should be “Lean on Me”….or maybe later…”he’s touching me!!”
Here is a little tender moment of Michelle with Tyler. Tyler is the outgoing one - looking for anyone to smile at!
Chace is the more serious one. It takes more warming up to finally get the smiles out. Look at his beautiful eyes in this image!
Next we played around a little. Mom can certainly make them smile. We got so many images with Tyler smiling! Next we need some video so you can hear the giggles!
Here is Chace all smiles now. Michelle knew exactly what would make each one laugh. What fun we had! Keep growing boys - see you soon.
I was so excited to photograph my BFF Pam’s twins Luke & Joely at Willowwood last week. We miraculously got a day between the wacky weather we’ve been having. They are the absolute cutest kids!
Luke & Joely are textbook gender kids. Joely is careful about her clothing, knows she needs to smile in each photo and is so careful to watch her Mom for her approval. Luke is all boy. He just wants to run around - he as glimpses of knowing he should smile and just wants to do things to make us laugh.
I love this image - the colors are beautiful and Joely has such a peaceful look about her! She is as beautiful and colorful as the flower!
How cute is Luke? He has just a genuine smile when you can make him laugh. Luke loves Batman - - just mentioning his name brings a smile.
And here is Joely. So lady like. And so happy that she is wearing her favorite shoes.
Since they were born, I have always wondered if they would develop their own little language, I have wondered if they will always be best friends. Watching them is so amazing.
Love you guys!
