I always look forward to the end of Winter in New Jersey. The only thing left now are ugly gray piles of a mixture of snow and sand in a parking lot here and there. During the last snow fall just a few weeks ago, I waited outside for my family of Cardinals to land on the tree right outside my window. I think I have been the major food supply for quite a few birds this Winter.
Our feathered friend is looking forward to Spring. And so am I.
I just spent a great week last week in Cape May, NJ at the M.A.R.S. school. I took a class with a photographer named Michael Redford from Pittsburgh. Marketing baby…that was the theme for the week - as well as a sunrise shoot, a family beach portrait, a Cape May shootout and some Country Western dancing. This image was taken at about 6:30 pm just as the sun was hitting the side of the lighthouse. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes as I stood in the swamp taking this shot. It was worth it!
