What started as a professional portrait with a lovely woman named Tina ended with some beautiful images of her 2 year old son Tyler.
The gazebo in Chatham was the perfect location to show off Tina’s beautiful bright eyes and light hair. It was one of those magical Spring days we’ve been having.
Tina’s son Tyler was patiently waiting with his great-grandmother who was celebrating her 85 birthday that day. Now it was his turn to shine.
What great smiles we got! Tyler looked like such a little man in his khakis and hush puppy shoes. Made me think of my boys when they were young.
This image above is one of those “what is he thinking” image. Beautiful!
Tyler is so lucky to be growing up with his great-grandmother in his life. And the best part for me was when she arrived…I looked down and saw she was wearing red shoes.
I truly hope that when I turn 85…I am wearing red shoes!!
I had a great time with Debbie and her husband Brian when they came in for a creative portrait session. Debbie runs an online shopping site and was looking for some images for her website. Together we created some stylish images - take a look!
I’m looking forward to seeing Deb’s new website - www.etrendzshop.com.
Maggie has all the grace of a dancer as we photographed her in movement and still. I am amazed at the discipline that must be required to move in the way she did. Let’s take a look.
Maggie’s smile brightened the room and she was such a delight to photograph.
Her movement just flowed and I she was very patience with me as I caught just the right moment.
I really had a hard time deciding on this last shot. She looked so beautiful in these last dramatic shots.
Good luck Maggie!
Karen Monroy knew that the way to bring life to her professional headshot was to find the perfect location. And she did! We had the perfect fall afternoon in Frenchtown overlooking the Delaware River.
Frenchtown is a “don’t blink or you’ll miss it” kind of town with little artsy galleries and cute coffee shops. Karen looked lovely in the warm colors of the fall.
Anyone who knows me well, knows that I like interesting textures in my backgrounds. Look at his beautiful wall - I like to think of it as representing a strong foundation!
Thank you Karen for introducing me to Frenchtown. I’ll definitely be visiting again!
I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Roman and photographing him for professional headshots as well as some fun stuff! Stephen is the brother of Tom Roman, my website designer. Stephen, I quickly discovered, has many different looks.
Well, let’s see…tall, dark, handsome, doctor…it’s a tough job I have. SOMEONE has to do it!
Stephen shows a lot of expression in his eyes and eyebrows. Look at this shot! The thinker…with compassion. That is what I see.
Now look at another version in Black & White…
Here is my story about Stephen, because I always have to have a story. His brother Tom does motivational speaking and I recently attended a seminar that he ran about keeping motivated in this economy. It talked about turning off the harmful news and setting goals in many aspect of your life. Great seminar! Stephen attended and has been following his advice. BUT…here is the BUT….It turns out, Tom looks to Stephen to help him set HIS goals and keep motivated. I absolutely loved that. I hope that when my boys get older that they will look to each other like that!
A few more looks -
It was a pleasure meeting you Stephen!
